Save big with our flat $9.95 charge anywhere in the U.S.! There are only 2 exceptions:

• If your order contains any Advanced Starter hostas, an extra $5.95 is added
• If your order contains any Mature Divisions, an extra $5.95 is added

These extra charges help compensate for the extra time and labor it takes to carefully gather and package these larger hostas

• We ship Starter Hostas (TC) in the plastic cell trays in which they were grown, and fit snugly in our cardboard boxes. Name tags are included with each hosta. We fill the remaining space in the box with packing peanuts.
• For Advanced Starters and Mature Divisions, we wrap the "bare root" hostas in newspaper, soak the bundle in water, add a name tag, rubber band the bundle, and put it in a plastic bag. (See How We Dig Divisions)
• Hostas are very hardy. However, we recommend that you plant your order as soon as possible. Please see our planting instructions.

We ship USPS Priority Mail. Studies show that 94% of Priority Mail is received in two days. Orders are shipped ASAP unless you request a later ship date or we are waiting for backordered inventory to arrive.

 

Average Spring shipping dates:

• Orders without any plants will ship asap
• Orders with ONLY Starter Hostas (TC) or Advanced Starters: late April to early May
• Orders with Mature Divisions: early June (our average last frost in MN is mid-May)
• We ship Mon-Wed to ensure the hostas do not sit over the weekend

We guarantee our plants to be in good condition and properly named and labeled to the best of our ability. All claims regarding shortages, damaged plants, etc. must be made within 7 days of receipt of shipment. We are not responsible for overwintering losses, lack of water, over-fertilizing, or plants lost due to causes beyond our control. We are unable to assume any warranty as to plant productivity or life after transplanting. Liability is limited to the cost of the plants. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Return plants with the original labels and we will refund the cost of the plants or provide replacements. Prices and inventory are subject to change.
